Restored aqua front door installed with its decorative oval glass retained

01 · Starting point

What we found

The existing blue finish was heavily weathered and marked across the face of the door, while the shaped panels and oval decorative glazing were still important features worth retaining.

02 · Approach

The response

The door was removed so the face, moulded details and glazing surround could be prepared more evenly. The existing door was then refinished in a lighter aqua colour before the hardware was refitted and the door returned to the opening.

03 · Result

The outcome

The entrance now has a cleaner, brighter finish without discarding the original door profile or decorative glass. The before-and-after sequence shows the real surface change rather than a stock-photo example.
